Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Microsoft 365 administration, user support, and compliance management? Our client is seeking a Systems Support Assistant to play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their IT systems, ensuring seamless operations, security, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online.
  • Provide second-level technical support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Oversee hybrid cloud and on-premises integration, managing Azure Active Directory (AAD), single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Implement security policies and compliance measures, conducting routine audits and enforcing data protection strategies such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Maintain ISO compliance records, including impact assessments, processing activity logs, and service catalogs, ensuring adherence to ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 9001, and ISO 27701 standards.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation and training to improve staff proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot complex issues and implement continuous improvements in IT operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of experience providing IT support and Microsoft 365 administration, including Identity and Access Management, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Teams Telephony, and Exchange Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles, compliance standards, and risk management.
  • Experience with service management tools like ServiceNow for handling incidents, service requests, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges, ensuring high service availability and efficiency.
  • Excellent documentation skills and experience in creating user guides, training materials, and knowledge-base articles.
