HP Non-Stop Consultant - Brussels / Krakow / London

Duration: 6-12 months

Rate: Flex

Hybrid working: 2-4 days onsite per month

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure HP Non-Stop Tandem platform is successfully integrated and operated within the company's business environment
  • Participate in, support and manage the deployment of applications within test, pre-production and production environments
  • Provide second and third level support to Production Operations as well as to internal and external Business
  • Installation and testing of new release/products like IBM MQ, Python, NonStop Webserver, Batch definition
  • NonStop Security management
  • Database (SQL/MP and SQL/MX) management
  • Storage management
  • System / Application performance analysis
  • NonStop Network management
  • Participate to major project (Stilton, ORT, DC 2+2, SCF …)
  • Train newcomer on the Tandem technology
  • Perform capacity management and performance analysis.

Please note this role is based in Cracow, Brussels or London and include Watch Duty On Call support outside business hours assigned on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a master's degree in mathematics, Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
  • A proved experience of min 5 years on the NonStop Environment
  • Strong knowledge of System Administration and Network Guardian & OSS
  • Programming language skills: TACL, Python, Yaml, Shell Script
  • Strong knowledge on the NonStop Infrastructure and tools: RDF/TMF/SCF/Pathway/Safeguard/DSM/SCM/MQSerie, SQL & SQL/MX, XMA, XUA, XCM, SSHCOM, ODBC, ITPWeb…)
  • Deep knowledge in Performance analysis (Measure, SQL explain plan …)
  • JAVA is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to demonstrate your ability to learn ICT technologies and share your knowledge
  • Able to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies/procedures
  • Stress resistant and constructive whatever the context
  • Able to comply with existing standards and acting with attention to detail
  • A true team player who demonstrates good interpersonal skills
  • Able to summarize complex technical situations in simple terms
  • Solution and client oriented
