A managed services organization is seeking a Trade Floor Support Engineer for a permanent position at a reputable investment banking firm in Canary Wharf.
The role involves supporting BYO devices, managing directors, VIP users, traders, and unique trading software like Bloomberg and Reuters.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of IT experience within the financial sector and a strong knowledge of financial markets.
The position requires excellent communication and negotiating skills, as well as experience troubleshooting Excel add-ins.

We are currently supporting a managed services organisation who work with multiple financial / investment organisations accross the UK. Together, we are recruiting for a highly skilled Trade Floor Support Engineer on a permanent basis to work at an end clients' site (A highly reputable investment banking organisation) in Canary Wharf.

This will operate on a Monday - Friday schedule with shifts between the hours of 6am - 7pm.

General duties include:

- Supporting BYO devices such as Blackberries and iPhones

- Support managing directors as well as VIP users

- Supporting traders

- Supporting unique trading software such as Bloomberg and Reuters

- General IT support i.e active directory, MS365, Mac support and networking (DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, routers and switches)

What we are looking for:

- 2+ years IT experience within the financial sector

- Very knowledegable of financial markets and trading software such as Reuters and Bloomberg

- Experienced troubleshooting Excel addins

- Excellent communication skills

- Good negotiatiating skills

- Very presentable
