Description

Network Operations Lead We are looking for an experienced Network Operations Lead to act as a crucial bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and efficient network operations. This is a hands-on, process-driven role that requires a senior technical professional, and someone capable of mentoring and upskilling the team.

This is a hands on role where you will be required to carry out technical performance and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead incident management and escalations within a fast-paced NOC environment.
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering growth and upskilling.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve network documentation and operational processes.
  • Engage in vendor management and coordinate with multiple network solution providers.
  • Play a key role in discovery and documentation, evolving the role as the function grows.
  • Participate in a monthly on-call rotation (one week per month) and provide flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work (nights/weekends) when required.
  • Contribute to hiring efforts as the team expands over the next 12 months.

Profile

Technical Skills Required

  • Networking: Cisco ACI, Meraki WiFi, Routing & Switching
  • Firewalls & Security: ASA Firepower, Checkpoint (Fortinet is a plus)
  • Monitoring & Tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, Infoblox
  • Network Management: Strong experience in firmware upgrades, day-to-day infrastructure operations
  • Certifications in Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet

Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Personable and approachable, capable of driving processes and mentoring others.
