Data Product Owner - Digital

We are currently recruiting for a Data Focused Product Owner with Digital Product Development experience (multi-tenancy) to join one of our Global Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract.

Please note this role is Inside IR35 and would require travel to London 1 day a month.

Experience:

  • Strong experience of digital product development, ideally multi -tenancy.
  • Experience of B2B, B2C / SaaS applications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product team and stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise business, digital, and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business goals.
  • Own the area of product /feature assigned : Take ownership of ensuring that solutions meet business needs, align with the product strategy, and deliver maximum value to users
  • Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Champion a user-first approach by collaborating with UX/UI designers, conducting user research, and validating that solutions meet end-user expectations.
  • Work closely with the data team to define data requirements, integrate analytics into digital products, and ensure insights are delivered for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with system analysts and architects to define and validate non-functional requirements, such as scalability, security, and performance, for all digital solutions.
  • Digital Product Development: Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and ensure iterative development aligns with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactively identify challenges or inefficiencies in existing processes or systems and recommend innovative, digital-first solutions to address them.
  • Maintain documentation of requirements, work flows, and solution designs, and ensure consistent validation of features through reviews, demos, and testing.'
