The client, a leading name in the retail industry, is seeking a Data Product Owner for their Data Product Team in London, offering a hybrid working model.
The role involves managing data products throughout their lifecycle, leading Product Councils, and owning selected backlogs to align with business priorities.
Candidates should have proven experience in agile and product management frameworks, knowledge of data platforms, and experience in leading business change initiatives.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with some knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, and Azure.
The position requires a proven background as a Product Owner, ideally with experience in data, and the salary is competitive, reflecting the experience level required.

Data Product Owner:

My client is a household name in the retail industry, and they are currently looking to add a Product Owner to their current team. You will be working in the Data Product Team and reporting into the Data Product Manager. This is a permanent role based in London and is hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

Manage Data products through an established lifecycle and use of given tools.
Own Product Councils to ensure alignment of business interests. You will be taking lead on this.
You will Product Own selected backlogs and ensure their implementation to align with business interests and priorities.

Requirements:

Proven and excellent experience/understanding of agile and product management frameworks.
Knowledge of data platforms.
Experience leading business change initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Some knowledge/understanding of data warehousing, SQL and Azure.
