Tiro Partners is excited to collaborate with a renowned beauty brand that has taken the industry by storm!
As they continue to expand their data team, we are on the lookout for a Lead Data Engineer (experienced Senior Developers are also encouraged to apply) to join their well-established team.
In this role, you'll take a hands-on approach, leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines, systems, and architectures. You'll also manage a small team from their London office, working within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment and utilizing technologies like SQL, Python, and Git.
Beyond technical responsibilities, you'll contribute to data and customer analytics projects, so experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Snowplow, Fivetran, or similar platforms is highly valued.
We're seeking a candidate who combines outstanding technical and leadership skills with a strategic mindset. Prior experience contributing to management-level strategies or discussions is a significant advantage
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a Lead or Senior Data Engineer, with expertise in coding using Python, SQL, and Git.
- Extensive cloud and serverless experience, preferably in GCP (though AWS or Azure are also considered).
- Proven leadership experience, with a confident and collaborative approach.
- A strategic mindset, with experience working alongside management and contributing ideas at a strategic level.
- Preferred experience in Ecommerce.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Snowplow, or Fivetran, is a plus.
