Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Project Manager (Data Specialist) to join the existing team on a brand-new project.

This role is based in London OR Edinburgh.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within Financial Services.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Working with onboarded Technology Domains to assist in reducing the banks data over retention risks.
  • Defining the scope of system that will be remediated through the programme.
  • Ensuring that the correct remediation strategy is recommended to business stakeholders for each system that holds over retained records.
  • Preparing and delivering plans that can be tracked centrally.
  • Helping domains to articulate risks, issues and dependencies so that they can be tracked and managed within the central programme.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
