Software Project Manager

Software Project Manager / London (Hybrid) / 6 months (initial) / Up to £500 per day (OUTSIDE IR35)

Ford & Stanley Interim are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to oversee the development and delivery of a cutting-edge software solution for a high-profile transport project in London. This role focuses on managing the implementation of a system for the live transmission of CCTV feeds to train drivers, ensuring they have clear platform and station views in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of the software development project, from initiation to delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the seamless development and integration of CCTV transmission software.
• Liaise with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations for safety-critical systems in the transport sector.
• Prepare regular project updates and reports for stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing software development projects, ideally within the transport, telecommunications, or video streaming sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with video streaming technologies, CCTV systems, or similar real-time transmission solutions.
• Familiarity with Transport for London (TfL) standards and practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
