Household brand FMCG business is seeking a Project Manager to join and support their omnichannel approach to customer purchases, leading the development of new technology initiatives that enables to customer to pay & collect, request delivery, and interest free credit options.

You will lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, across different domains and platforms.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and ensure that the initiatives deliver value and meet their expectations.
  • Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, and ensure that initiatives follow the best practices and standards of project management.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, and proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers, and ensure that the dependencies, inter-dependencies, and integration points are identified and managed.
  • Provide regular and transparent reporting and status updates to the senior management and governance boards and escalate any issues or risks that need their attention or intervention.
  • Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques, and foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the delivery teams and the wider technology function.

Skills required.

  • Broad and proven track record of delivering complex and high-value technology initiatives across different domains and common enterprise-scale technology platforms e.g. MuleSoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure
  • Background in finance and experience of operating in a heavily regulated environment
  • Strong supplier management background
  • Experience of delivery in large complex organisations, such as FTSE 250 companies or top tier professional services
