Generative AI Project/Programme Manager - sought by leading investment bank based in Canary Wharf - Hybrid - Contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage generative AI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI development.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing AI or machine learning projects.
- Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
