IT Demand Manager

12 month contract

2-3 days onsite in London

Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our global trading client for a Demand Manager to support in the operation and management of the trading IT portfolio.

Demand Management determines the availability requirements and capacity demands for new and existing IT services to minimise service outages and maximise ROI.

Your role will be important in doing the following;

  • Creating capacity and availability plans to leverage existing IT investments and reduce downtime
  • Ensuring that Business demand is appropriate priced against the cost of service and budgeted accordingly for consequently financial periods
  • Incorporating availability and capacity requirements in new services to create services that are designed to meet the availability and capacity needs of the business
  • Monitoring availability and performance, investigating related incidents and diagnosing problems, to improve the availability of ICT services to the business
  • Providing detailed system reporting to users and technical groups to highlight availability and reliability against agreed targets.
  • Uses discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments. Applies a methodical approach to problem definition.
  • Monitors service levels and resolves issues.
