IT Manager Opportunity - Leading Client in Legal - Central London

A prestigious client of ours is actively seeking a seasoned IT Manager to join their expanding IT department.

This newly created role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of their IT operations. You will oversee all IT projects, and day-to-day management while liaising closely with the Head of IT and leading a dedicated team of two engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 2 engineers, ensuring optimal performance and skill development.
• Project Management: Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Handle IT budgeting, including forecasting and managing resources effectively to meet project and operational needs.
• Virtualisation: Manage and support virtualised environments, including clustering and hosting solutions.
• Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewall management and adherence to Cyber Essentials standards.
• System Implementations: Lead the planning and execution of new IT system deployments and upgrades.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Leadership: Minimum of 4 years of IT management experience (open to candidates with slightly less experience if other qualifications align).
• MacOS Expertise: Extensive experience working with Mac environments, particularly in managing enterprise-level solutions.
• OKTA: Strong experience with OKTA identity management.
• JAMF/ABM: Proficiency with JAMF or Apple Business Manager (ABM) for Apple device management.
• Windows/O365: Solid experience with Windows platforms and Office 365 administration.
• Sector Experience: Experience working within a law firm, solicitors, or similar professional environment is highly desirable.
