We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Reed Professional Services, working closely with our client's Operations and Delivery team. This pivotal role within the Technology function focuses on the Universal Service Obligation (USO) project, contributing to our long-standing history of excellence in delivery services.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and manage change projects, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budgets.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, managing relationships effectively and navigating complex interactions.
  • Communicate project goals and updates clearly across diverse audiences, maintaining transparency and alignment.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive, effectively addressing and resolving project challenges.
  • Employ strong negotiation and delegation skills to manage resources and expectations.
  • Maintain calm and perspective in challenging situations to ensure steady project progress.
  • Utilize commercial acumen for effective supplier management, ensuring value-driven outcomes.
  • Support the project team technically, aiding in issue resolution and escalation processes.
  • Foster innovation and creative problem-solving within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in delivering change projects successfully.
  • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills, capable of handling challenging interactions.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Resilient and driven, with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and competent supplier management.
  • Good technical knowledge, with experience in traditional and modern IT/software development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall).
  • Desirable: Experience with Agile/Lean frameworks (SCRUM, KANBAN, XP), Continuous Improvement, and tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and HP Application Lifecycle Management.
