Defect Test Manager  - SuccessFactors

  • Remote (with occasional travel for team meetings)
  • Start Date: November
  • Initial End Date: May 2025
  • £500 - £600 per day via Umbrella (inside IR35)

We are seeking a Defect Test Manager to join our Test and Validation department. This is a new role created to manage the defect testing phases of a significant SAP HR SuccessFactors Programme, which involves migrating data from OpenText ALM to Azure DevOps. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in coordinating complex projects across multiple countries and managing licensing challenges.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the defect management of various test phases of the programme, working closely with the Programme Test Manager and Test Leads.
  • Coordinate with internal development teams, IT teams, and third-party vendor teams to ensure timely and efficient closure of defects.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the Environment and IT leads to ensure the testing environment is fully provisioned.
  • Produce high-quality defect management information (MI) and documentation for partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in ALM and Azure DevOps.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead defect management in large-scale projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Excellent coordination skills to manage relationships with multiple internal and external teams.
