Gibbs Consulting is looking for an IAM Security Architect/SME to help build an enterprise identity platform for a client in the financial services sector.
The role requires deep expertise with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and advanced security tools, along with hands-on experience in configuration as code for Entra.
Candidates should have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps workflows, and integrating SailPoint with Entra and ServiceNOW.
A comprehensive understanding of passwordless authentication technologies and device-hardening standards is essential, along with Microsoft’s security policies and controls.
The position offers a competitive salary, and candidates should have significant experience in the field, ideally with a strong background in identity and access management.

IAM Security Architect/SME

Gibbs Consulting is seeking a talented IAM Security Architect/SME to support a client to build their new enterprise identity platform to align to or exceed regulatory requirements, build a secure by design and secure by default foundational platform for the client to consume throughout and after their TSA exit process.

Role Overview:• Job Title: IAM (Identity and Access Management) Security Architect/SME• Sector: Financial Services/Payments

• Deep expertise with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.• Proficiency in advanced security tools and features, such as PIM/PIM for Groups/Entra cloud provisioning/Entra ID Governance/Privileged Access Workstations/InTune secure configuration/Autopilot configuration• Hands-on experience with configuration as code for Entra.• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.• Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and integrating SailPoint SaaS with Entra.• Experience with integrating ServiceNOW into SailPoint and Entra.• Comprehensive understanding of passwordless authentication technologies and device-hardening standards, such as those outlined by NCSC or similar bodies.• Expertise in Microsoft’s ecosystem, including Entra, security policies, and controls, with an ability to ensure seamless integration across components.• Alternatively, advanced skills in integrating SailPoint, ServiceNOW, and Entra, creating scalable, functional solutions tailored to organizational needs.
