Security Cleared Security Architect

Duration: 6 to 9 Months
Location: Based at client locations or working remotely
Daily Rate: 600 per day (a status determination assessment has been conducted, and the outcome placed the role outside IR35)
Start: January 2025

Due to the nature and timescale of this position, you must have active SC clearance.

Role Summary

Triad Group Plc is seeking a skilled SC-Cleared Security Architect. This is a strategic role rather than a hands-on role. You will need experience working with senior stakeholders and implementing security frameworks and policies across large-scale programmes.

The key responsibilities:

Designing security systems: Developing comprehensive security frameworks and infrastructures to protect digital assets, networks, and data.

  • Most of the design work has been completed by the delivery partner, our clients' Technical Architects will create designs for aspects of the programme.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on designs. Although much of this design work has been completed most of the designs are currently being implemented.
  • You will be expected to participate in the weekly Design Authority meetings and contribute to design decisions impacting the program.

Assessing and managing risks: Identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

  • You will also need to work with the Project Managers and the Risk Managers to identify, assess and review risks and issues.

Implementing and overseeing security policies: Establishing security standards, protocols, and best practices, while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Must hold current SC (Security Check) level security clearance.
  • Proven experience as a Security Architect with a strong focus on security frameworks
  • Solid experience in threat modelling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
