Our client, a leading energy provider, is seeking a Head of Information Security to drive strategy, safeguard their critical assets, and ensure compliance with global standards.

Role Overview: As the Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for defining and implementing security protocols, risk management strategies, and compliance initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will oversee a team of experts while collaborating with departments to ensure robust security frameworks are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy
• Lead risk assessments, security audits, and compliance programs
• Monitor and respond to emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security best practices
• Lead incident response and recovery efforts in the event of a breach
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
• Manage a team of security professionals and external vendors

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior information security role (CISO, Director, Head of Information Security)
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices
• Experience leading incident response, risk management, and threat mitigation
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
