Fully home working opportunity with a Leading Silicon Vendor client who are looking for Linux Kernel development support. The client are one of the top contributors to the Linux Foundation in the world. You will be working on a next generation of Microchip developments and have a long term (2 Years+) assignment. The position has been QDOS assessed as an OUTSIDE IR35 position and the client are happy to ship you the hardware so you can work anywhere from Europe.Â
This position provides the opportunity to work at the forefront of the technology using Yocto 5.0 and later (previous Yocto experience is beneficial but not essential).Â
Any experience with the following is also beneficial;
- Porting BSPs
- Providing driver support for System on Chip I.P. Blocks
- Porting Yocto versions
- Yoctoproject
- Kernel/Driver development (Any experience completing Kernel development without a reference board is beneficial and particularly noteworthy)Â
- Upstreaming/OpenSource contributions/ Community maintainers (beneficial)Â
- Drivers for complex I.P. ( e.g I2C, PCI, USB3)
- Back porting driver support (beneficial)
- Scarthgap/Dunfell (beneficial)
You will be working with an experienced development team who are based across Europe, the client can offer the contract following a one stage TEAMS interview.
