Service Analyst12-month FTC £28,000 - £31,000RemoteAn exciting opportunity has become available as a Service Analyst within the IT function, on a 12-month FTC, working for a well known and national Charity. Job Purpose: The Service Analyst will support daily operations within the Technology Directorate, managing administrative tasks such as order processing, stock control, reporting, and handling escalations. The role also involves supporting projects, testing, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.This position offers insight into IT operations and pathways for career advancement into Service Manager, Business Analyst, or Project Manager roles.Key Relationships:

• Internal:
  • Reports to the Head of Service Management
  • Collaborates with Service Managers and project teams
  • Engages with end users to resolve issues and manage service perceptions
• External:
  • Works with suppliers on service delivery, purchase, and invoice queries

Main Responsibilities as Service Analyst:

• Support Service Managers in managing IT service suppliers and ensuring contractual compliance
• Administer stock levels, handle licensing, asset management, and reporting
• Manage service complaints and compliments, and assist internal teams with issue resolution
• Reconcile invoices for IT and telecom services
• Oversee governance of Office 365 and telecom services
• Update content for the Technology intranet and Service Now

Person Specification:

• Experience in IT customer service and familiarity with ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change) frameworks
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and deliver constructive feedback
• Experience with MS Office for report writing and presentations

This is a 12-month contract, a great opportunity to gain experience within IT Service Management, and gain opportunities of progression as a Service Manager, Business Analyst or Project Manager.They are looking to pay between £28,000 and £31,000, with strong benefits. This is a remote role, however they do have offices around the country if you need to attend one.An exciting opportunity to join a well known national charity.
