Our consultancy client is delivering a large-scale Salesforce transformation for a key customer in the London insurance market. To support this initiative, we are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Solution Architect with a deep understanding of Financial Services Cloud (FSC), OmniStudio, and Salesforce Industries/Vlocity for Insurance. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture and providing strategic direction throughout the lifecycle of this transformative project.

Role Summary

The Salesforce Solution Architect will lead solution delivery for high-profile Salesforce implementations, serving as a trusted advisor and a key contributor to business transformation. This role involves close collaboration with internal and client teams, providing thought leadership, designing transformational solutions, and steering implementation plans that align with the customer's business objectives. As an expert in Salesforce architecture, you will also drive roadmap planning and lead business process redesign, ensuring optimal delivery of multi-cloud solutions within the client's landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead business process reviews, roadmap planning, and design activities across multi-cloud Salesforce implementations, with a focus on FSC, OmniStudio, and Salesforce Industries for Insurance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders by fostering trust, credibility, and collaborative working dynamics.
  • Industry and Product Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry and technology advancements, particularly within the Salesforce ecosystem, to offer the latest insights and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct and manage discussions with various levels of business stakeholders to capture and clarify requirements, ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  • Service Offering Development: Assist in the creation of service offerings that support quick value realisation for Salesforce implementations.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Participate in pre-sales activities where deep Salesforce expertise is required, helping to position solutions for successful delivery.
  • Collaboration with Salesforce Product Teams: Liaise with Salesforce's product teams to ensure solutions are aligned with platform capabilities and the client's needs.
  • Utilisation Management: Maintain a target billable utilisation rate aligned with the requirements of the role.
  • Solution Validation and Quality Assurance: Validate solution components, facilitate customer walkthroughs, and provide guidance to project management on critical issues or risks.
  • Prototyping and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and sample mock-ups to refine business requirements. Own and manage the creation of user stories and business requirements documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • CRM and Salesforce Expertise: 12+ years of CRM experience, with at least 8 years on the Salesforce platform, including expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce suite (Financial Services Cloud, OmniStudio, and Salesforce Industries for Insurance).
  • Strategic Solution Design: Demonstrated experience designing and leading transformational solutions that align with complex business needs.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to build strong client relationships and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Product Suite Knowledge: In-depth expertise across the Salesforce platform, including proficiency in at least two of the following: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
  • Documentation and Requirements Gathering: Proficient in creating business requirements documents, user stories, and process design documentation.
  • Technical and Functional Leadership: Ability to lead multi-cloud projects and manage multiple stakeholders across functional and technical domains.

Desirable Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application/System Architect certifications.
  • Salesforce Industries Certifications (OmniStudio Consultant, OmniStudio Developer).
  • Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional.
  • Salesforce Certified Consultant (Sales, Service, or Community Cloud)
