  • A salary of $70,000 is offered, and candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

As our Front-End and Power Platform Developer you will play a key role in enabling the AA to fully gain the maximum benefit from our data and content management system back-ends, creating and maintaining excellent user experiences through interfaces, layouts and interactions built to AA designs and style guidelines. Your work will be key to ensuring that a rich range of data and content can be experienced and interacted with by users through web pages which reflect AA design whilst also meeting high standards of usability and accessibility.

You will collaborate closely with our Design Studio and IT team (especially their ‘Database and Power Platform Developer’) to ensure that not only are our web pages accessible, stylish and fitting to our designs, but that they are integrated effectively with our underlying data and systems. You will develop existing and new Power Platform based web pages (primarily using Power Portals and Power Pages) which integrate with Dynamics 365 and our Microsoft Dataverse, but also pages and website front-ends which largely use API-based Content Management Systems and ReactJS.

The post is based in the small Digital Platforms team which holds responsibility for the development, management and maintenance of the school’s websites and several internal digital administration systems. Under the management of the Head of Digital Platforms you will work collaboratively within the team’s ‘agile’ approach to workflow alongside permanent and consultant full stack web developers. An open and positive team player, you will communicate effectively not just within the team but also with other colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that your development work meets considered and exhaustive requirements.
