An exciting opportunity within financial services Client are looking Senior Application Consultant based in London.

Role: Senior Application Consultant

Location: London (3 days week on site)

Duration: 12 Months

Status: Inside IR35

The Capability Owner provides ownership of the product backlog. Works closely with the Capability & Industry Lead and the Business Architect to understand the business needs and objectives.

Experience and skills Required:

  • Experienced within Unix and Oracle.
  • Experience of public cloud Microsoft Azure, ADO and Power BI
  • Strong experience working in a SAFe Agile or similar agile environment.
  • Familiarity with implementing test and process automation.
  • Worked in Financial Services background - Investment bank is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Takes an active role in all squad ceremonies including elaboration, estimation, prioritization and implementation of work.
  • Takes a new perspective on existing solutions, applying architectural guidance & best practice to propose solutions.
  • Develops and maintains the architectural and technical debt backlog and roadmap for the capability.
  • Align architectural guidance, technology & business priorities and reality of implementation.
  • Works within broad guidelines and policies
  • Works with other squads to understand the architectural direction and incorporates this into the squad's plans and drives the adoption within the squad including identifying and resolving roadblocks to adoption.
  • Interacts with business and technology teams at all levels to implement work.
  • Acts as an advisor and guide for the Capability Owner and squad.
  • Drives adoption of design and engineering patterns and best practice.
  • Participates in system maintenance and infrastructure management.
