Role: Helpdesk Operator

Duration: Temporary - 6 months currently

Location: Central London - 100% office based

Pay rate: £17.60

Post holder will be responsible for carrying out Help Desk duties including answering and dealing with Estates work enquiries, follow-ups and complaints via the emergency line, telephone, web request and verbal instructions. The post holder will use the existing IT FM support system (currently Planon) to raise, monitor assignment and close job instructions and provide relevant statistics. The person will use their customer services skills to liaising with colleagues, contractors and customers and ensure that the work requests, follow up enquiries, complaints and contract call-outs are dealt timely, efficiently and courteously.

The performance standard must meet our service level requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. The specific duties are listed under the Service Delivery section below and must be carried out in line with LSE and Estates policy and procedures.

Customer services skills and experience

Good telephone manners

Experience of writing responses to enquiries and complaints using judgement of managing information and technical details.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to create and update log books, work instructions and keep tables updated in order to gather statistical data

Knowledge of IT FM systems (e.g. Planon)

Good administration and organisational skills including ability to adhere to filing arrangements and statistical data requirements

Knowledge of property and facility management
