IT SPECIALISTWest London£180 per day (12 months Contract with the possibility to extend)Shift Pattern:4 on 2 off rotating shifts (including evening and weekend)Hours: 5am - 2pm, 8am - 5pm, 3pm - 11pmGrafton Recruitment are looking to recruit an IT Specialist for a market leading provider of innovative and high-performance solutions for airport logistics.As part of their long-term commitment to quality and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an additional IT Specialist who will focus on providing cargo management systems applications (CSS) / system maintenance and operations tasks and ensure uninterrupted operations.THE ROLE:As an IT Specialist you will be required to:

• Second Line support responsible for Cargo Application (CCS).
• Operation support for cargo system.
• Responsible for fault finding & trouble shooting application and hardware issues. Escalation and coordination with 2nd and 3rd level support when necessary.
• Will be responsible to follow occupational health, safety, security, environment and quality.

THE CANDIDATE:The ideal IT Specialist:

• Technical knowhow on performing root cause analysis.
• Reviewing and assessing of current process and deduction of improvement.
• Understanding of cargo and transport management system material flow.
• Knowledge to inspect, test, repair and maintain all areas of the cargo and TMS.
• Awareness / Knowledge of quality /safety procedures.
• Leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT/SCADA field.
• Should have extensive troubleshooting experience on industrial applications and ideally as well in hardware, network and systems.
• Able to generate reports from excel and other tools. Exhibit analytical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to diagnose applications and IT hardware system problems and prepare the report on time.
• Ready to work in shift and ability to reply to control room queries.
• Hands on knowledge in Oracle/ Java.
