Robert Half are assisting a market leading creative advertisement organisation to recruit an IT Support Engineer on an initial 3 month contract basis

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support:

  • The IT Support Engineer will provide technical assistance for Windows and macOS systems, including software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Google Workspace (Gsuite), including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet.
  • Support mobile device management (iOS and Android) for end-users.

Incident and Request Management:

  • Respond to support requests through the ticketing system, phone, email, or in person.
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents, escalating complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tickets, resolutions, and technical processes.

System Administration:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory and Google Workspace.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, printers, and shared resources.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

  • Set up, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure system security and compliance.

Project Support:

  • Assist in IT projects, such as system migrations, hardware rollouts, and new software implementations.
  • Conduct testing and provide feedback for new technologies and systems.
Key Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Gsuite) administration.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, MDM solutions, and basic networking concepts.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support roles, ideally in a global or fast-paced environment.
