**IT Support Engineer** (1st & 2nd Line)| Hybrid (35% field-based, 65% home/office)Salary: £32,000-£38,000 per year
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Engineer to join our growing team at IT Solutions. This role involves providing high-quality IT support to our clients, working both remotely and on-site.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for client IT systems.- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra ID, Teams).- Configure and manage Windows operating systems.- Support small business networking, including managing SME grade routers, switches and Wi-Fi systems.- Conduct IT health checks and client site visits (within a 30-minute drive, with occasional longer trips).- Plan and assist with IT upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
**Required Skills & Experience:**1. Expertise in Microsoft 365 admin centres (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).2. Strong Windows OS knowledge (Windows 10/11, Server 2016+).3. Networking experience (SME grade routers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).4. Field support experience and a valid driving license.5. General IT troubleshooting and support experience, including remote tools.
**Desirable Skills:**- Knowledge of Intune or MDM solutions.- VoIP systems support.- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365).- PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365.
