The role of Senior Product Designer offers a rate of £530 per day inside IR35, based in Central London with a hybrid model of 3 days on-site and 2 days at home.
This position is for a duration of 6 months and involves working with a top Financial Services company to develop a new client portal.
Candidates are required to have experience in Financial Services and building customer/client portals, along with strong UI and UX skills.
A portfolio showcasing relevant design work and fluency in Figma and prototyping tools are essential, along with experience in UX research methods.
The role also includes responsibilities such as delivering intuitive designs, mentoring other designers, and collaborating with product teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Working for a top Financial Services company, you'll be joining a growing team that's tasked with delivering a brand-new client portal.

Experience Required:

Experience in Financial Services is essential
Experience building customer/client portals is essential.
Strong experience in UI and UX, building complex user flows, visual design, accessible and inclusive design, responsive design, design systems, strategic product thinking, information architecture and/or growth design.
A portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work and problem solving skills.
Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
Experience working on internal tools or enterprise-level products.
Familiarity with UX research methods and integrating insights to shape design decisions.
Experience with UX writing or copywriting.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality end-to-end designs for web and mobile applications that are simple and intuitive.
Ideate on short to medium term design and product strategies alongside the product team.
Present thoughtful design solutions to product teams, articulating your design rationale effectively.
Provide day-to-day mentorship to other designers, helping them navigate design challenges and grow in their roles.
Ensure all designs adhere to the companies accessibility guidelines, creating inclusive experiences for all employees.
Promote the use of a design system amongst designers, developers and other participants.
Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, and engineers to align designs with business goals and user needs.
Learn, adapt and introduce new design methodologies, tools, and trends.
