Account Delivery Director (Insurance Sector)

Location: London / Remote

Salary: 120k +20% bonus + benefits

CPS Group are working with a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, and technology services to find a Account Delivery Director for the UK insurance market. This role focuses on managing delivery, driving performance, and maintaining client relationships within the insurance sector.

This role specifically focuses on the UK Insurance Market Unit and its portfolio of clients. Reporting to C-suite the individual will collaborate closely with other Account Delivery Executives and Account Executives to drive business development. The primary responsibilities include overseeing all delivery execution for assigned accounts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The individual will manage and develop Engagement Managers (EMs) and Project Managers (PMs), ensuring time and expense reporting is maintained. They will also monitor the financial performance of their accounts, contributing to cost and margin forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project delivery for insurance clients, ensuring all timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Manage and develop project managers and engagement managers.
Collaborate closely with account executives to support business development and P&L planning.
Monitor financial performance and provide input on forecasting.
Ensure compliance with client commitments, KPIs, and delivery SLAs.
Act as a key advisor on delivery topics, building strong client relationships.
Review and provide oversight of all ongoing delivery engagements.

Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience in delivery leadership, particularly within the insurance industry.
IT Programme Delivery at a large scale, senior level preferably from within a Consultancy Environment.
Strong background in stakeholder management and client relationship building.
Familiarity with formal delivery methodologies, agile practices, and the insurance market landscape.
Ability to drive innovation and lead change across large-scale projects.
