The broker are a leading insurance firm specialising in aviation and wider commercial areas, committed to delivering exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to their clients. Their division is expanding, and they are looking for a talented Aviation Insurance Broker to join their dynamic team.

The Opportunity

As an Aviation Insurance Broker focusing on general aviation and policy lines, you will have the unique opportunity to take over a small but valuable book of existing business. Your role will involve maintaining and developing relationships with our current clients, while also driving growth through new connections and innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of general aviation insurance accounts.
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on a range of aviation insurance products, including policy lines tailored to general aviation.
  • Work closely with underwriters to negotiate competitive terms and conditions for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the business, leveraging your connections and market knowledge.
  • Deliver outstanding service and build long-term relationships with clients.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, with a focus on aviation insurance lines.
  • Strong knowledge of general aviation and the associated risks.
  • A network of contacts within the aviation industry.
  • A proactive and ambitious mindset with a drive to succeed and grow the business.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Innovative thinking and a passion for developing new ideas to enhance client relationships and business growth.
