Are you, or have you been an Underwriter within the general insurance and particulary enjoyed the relationship management aspect of your role?

This is an unique opportunity at a London market insurance focused business, who specialise in managing the setting up and facilitating the infrastructure of new MGAs coming to market.

Current lines of business are Property, D&O, A&H, MedMal, Title, Marine, Contingency.

You will be involved with underwriting strategy, product development, assigning underwriting territories, budgeting, planning as well as portfolio oversight and management.

This role will suit a strategic, solutions focused individual who is excited by being part of start up facilities and who sees themself as adding a dynamic contribution across a multi-faceted requirement.

This could suit someone from a broking house who has underwritten under a binder facility so understands the technical aspect of underwriting and portfolio analysis. If you have had previous P&L exposure/responsibility this will also be of interest.

In addition, one of the rare opportunites which will offer remote working, with working from the London office as and when required - it will be down to the individual to make choices about how often they need to be in the office.
