We are seeking a skilled and driven Broker to facilitate the placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering exceptional client service. Reporting to the Managing Director of Construction, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on designated risks within the dynamic US Construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the placement of designated risks, including preparing documentation such as underwriting submissions, market reform contracts, wordings, and endorsements.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of the insurance marketplace, trends, and cycles to seize market opportunities.
- Develop and manage client relationships, including overseas travel to strengthen connections.
- Collaborate with underwriters and other brokers to manage market relationships effectively.
- Review and analyse client needs to determine appropriate product solutions and desired terms.
- Ensure accounts are serviced efficiently through placement, credit control, and claims processes.
- Demonstrate and communicate technical knowledge across diverse audiences.
- Maintain up-to-date regulatory knowledge and report any compliance concerns.
