We are looking for a Claims Adjuster to join our clients established and leading Claims team, focused on handling US Casualty claims alongside our Senior Claims Adjusters. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking for a new challenge within a dynamic, high-performing Syndicate.

**Duties and Accountabilities**

- Manage claims of varying complexity within a defined authority level, in line with our Claims commitment, philosophy, and procedures.

- Adhere to internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service, including meeting SLAs and keeping systems, such as ECF and DOCOsoft, up to date.

- Keep Underwriters and other internal stakeholders informed of relevant claims information and issues, as well as their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external clients, brokers, and third-party experts.

- Regularly communicate with the broader Claims team and provide updates on relevant claims developments, issues, and trends.

- Provide general support to the team, including ad hoc tasks or projects as needed.

**Skills, Knowledge, and Experience**

- Proven experience in handling US Casualty claims and solid technical claims knowledge.

- Familiarity with London Market claims systems (e.g., ECF).

- Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders and clients.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Enjoys problem-solving and can adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

- Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and similar applications.

- Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII (desirable but not essential).
