Claims Analyst – Reinsurance
EC3, London / Hybrid (2 days in the office per week) – WFH / Remote working
£45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits including generous pension, private medical, dental, rising holiday, up to 30 days holiday, rising and lots more.
My client is a global reinsurance provider who offers a proven career bath, generous staff benefits and a supportive working environment. Due to expansion, they are looking for a proactive individual with experience in Delegated Claims to join this international insurance business. The successful candidate will play a key role in a team that works across multiple Insurance products.
Claims Analyst - Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibility for claims bordereau oversight.
- Responsible for internal performance reporting and metrics.
- Responsible for the completion and submission of regulatory returns.
- Assisting the Senior Delegated Claims Analyst, P&C Operations Management and Claims Management in the relationship management of outsource partners.
- Providing input and offering insight as necessary to internal meetings such as data working groups.
- Deputise, when required, for the Senior Delegated Claims Analyst by engaging in and keeping informed of market Delegated Authority initiatives appropriate to the role.
Claims Analyst – Over to You! The Successful Claims Analyst Will Have;
- Experience of working in a delegated authority role or similar.
- Good understanding of the global delegated business environment and the insurance market (notably within the UK, US and/or across EMEA).
- Able to demonstrate logical, analytical thinking towards problem solving.
- Experience of using VIPR or similar market binder management tools.
- Knowledge of Lloyd’s platforms & processes for DUA business (Atlas, Bar etc).
- Experience of using reporting tools (BusinessObjects / Power BI / Tableau) etc.
