Role Deliverables

  • Ensure quick response and settlement of claims while continuously reviewing service standards.
  • Negotiate claims with markets to enhance client retention.
  • Provide clients with advice on claims when necessary.
  • Ensure timely processing of all claims documents and respond to inquiries related to claims processing.
  • Handle client monies securely, efficiently, and in an auditable manner while proactively managing payments.
  • Maintain and update internal systems.
  • Collaborate with placing teams and other departments to meet overall client requirements.
  • Prepare statistical claims data for internal and external use.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and markets as appropriate.
  • Perform quality control checks on all documentation.
  • Adhere to and fully meet the company's expectations as outlined in its policies, procedures, training materials, and embedded systems and controls. These policies and procedures encapsulate compliance, legal, and financial crime-related legislation and regulations.
  • Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed by relevant authorities, such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA rules.
  • Promote the company’s brand and values to enhance its reputation in the market.

Claims Handling

  • Manages claims with limited supervision and may handle more complex claims under supervision, escalating as necessary.
  • Assists others with straightforward claims.
  • Follows internal and market claims procedures.
  • Understands clients' core business, relevant markets, and their platforms and systems.
