A City based MGA have an opportunity for a Claims Technician. You will be responsible for assisting with the day to day claims handling functions, including the administration of claims and ensuring the end to end claims process operates smoothly and efficiently within the agreed procedures and service standards.Duties will include overseeing the production of the claims bordereaux and any associated queries.It will involve handling a wide range of classes of business, including Cyber, Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice and Property claims.Applicants should have prior Direct or Reinsurance Claims knowledge, preferably within the London Market and knowledge of London market systems such as ECF. Knowledge of Binding Authority Agreements and an understanding of the MGA role within the claims process would be preferable. This will be a hybrid role.
