About the Role

Are you passionate about creating safer communities and supporting behaviour change? As a DRIVE Case Manager, you will work directly with perpetrators identified as high-risk to help reduce domestic abuse and improve outcomes for all involved. This role requires engaging individuals, influencing behavioural change, and collaborating with agencies to design strategic, individualised intervention plans. Your efforts will help perpetrators understand the impact of their behaviour and take steps toward positive transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engagement & Intervention: Work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators identified as high-risk, securing engagement and supporting them through behaviour change.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with existing agencies and professionals to deliver coordinated, multi-agency interventions, and actively participate in operational meetings.
  • Risk Management: Work closely with IDVA services to manage risks, develop safety plans, and continually review and update intervention strategies.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of high-risk perpetrators, developing personalised support plans based on comprehensive assessments of risk and needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with data protection protocols and DRIVEs case management systems.
  • Outreach & Flexibility: Act as a single point of contact for professionals, providing regular updates and building effective working relationships. Be flexible and adaptable in delivering services across various environments.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable service users and within multi-agency settings (e.g., child protection, safeguarding, MARAC).
  • Strong understanding of domestic abuse and the impact on victims, including legal remedies and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency context.
  • Experience in managing caseloads and writing detailed reports.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including some evening and weekend work.
  • Full driving license and access to a car for travel across the boroughs.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with domestic abuse perpetrators or victims.
  • Understanding of public protection arrangements and multi-agency partnerships.
  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and pro-social modelling.
