As they continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Assistant Legal Cashier and Office Assistant to become a key member of their dynamic team.

Please note, that to be successful in your application, you must be authorised to live and work in the UK, and have at least 2 years experience in a law, finance or accounting function.
Assistant Legal Cashier and Office Assistant - The role:

Manage client and office ledgers, process payments, and ensure adherence to the Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

Assist with monthly and year-end cashiering tasks, SAR audits, and compliance training.

Generate financial reports, billing forecasts, and KPIs for partners.

Facilitate billing meetings, prepare invoices for fee earners, review matter lists, and resolve any residual balances or compliance concerns.

Offer assistance to both management and staff on billing performance and achieving billing targets.

Oversee office expenses, supplies, file management, archiving, and various administrative tasks.

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, payroll updates, and the implementation of system improvements and new case management software.

Review supplier contracts and help with daily invoice and expense verification.
Assistant Legal Cashier and Office Assistant - Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in legal finance or cashiering.

In-depth understanding of SAR, legal financial regulations, and legal accounting software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.

Confident communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team, lead a team, and inspire/develop staff.
