Assistant Legal CashierIs this the role for you?If you have at at least a year's experience in a finance, billing or cashiering role in a legal firm, this could be a great move for you. This is a new role created by them undergoing a period of substantial growth.

This is a great opportunity for longer term progression into the field of Operations, Finance or Human Resources.

What you will do:Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining ledgers, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) and Anti Money Laundering regulations.
  • Supporting monthly and year-end cashiering duties, SAR audits, and compliance training.
  • Preparing financial reports, billing forecasts, and KPIs for partners.
  • Preparing bills for fee earners, reviewing matter lists and resolving issues.
  • Managing office expenses, supplies, file management, archiving and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Assisting the Partners and Operations team in ensuring smooth office operations.
What you will need:
  • At least two years' experience with exposure to legal firm
  • A self-motivated and organised approach to your work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
  • A willingness to "pitch in" and help out wherever is needed
