Client Payments Assistant (Temporary)

Join 42, a leading management and film and television production company, as a temporary Client Payments Coordinator. This role is crucial in supporting our client management team, ensuring accurate and timely payments to clients, and developing processes to facilitate business growth. You will be working in a dynamic environment that values creativity and innovation.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare client statements through Tagmin and submit them to client teams for review.
  • Match bank receipts to client projects and seek further information where needed.
  • Record payments received in Excel and calculate commission splits.
  • Set up domestic and international payments and transfers in the bank.
  • Identify commission splits related to third-party agents.
  • Support bi-weekly client income reviews and ensure accuracy of the data.
  • Handle queries, liaising with agents, clients, and accountants, and providing information as requested.
  • Generate project general ledgers for clients as requested.
  • Post transactions to Sage.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations for client bank accounts.
  • Raise invoices on behalf of clients, in line with Tagmin job sheets or at the request of the client team, particularly VAT invoices.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoice payments.
  • Constantly seek improvements to existing systems and processes and implement approved changes.
  • Perform additional tasks from time to time as requested by the Client Payments Lead/Supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong academic record.
  • Experience working in a management agency with a demonstrated strong financial understanding and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Tagmin and Sage is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and focused on constantly improving (self and processes).
  • A positive character with opinions you are not afraid to voice and a “can do” attitude.
