The opportunity to work for a respected private health clinic based in West London, committed to delivering exceptional care to patients. You will work closely with top insurance companies to facilitate claims, ensuring a smooth financial experience for both patients and the clinic.

We are seeking an experienced Temp Credit Controller with a strong background in chasing insurance claims and debt recovery for our client. The primary responsibility of this role is to liaise with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate payment of claims. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing insurance claims and outstanding debts, supported by measurable results. We expect successful candidates/CV's to name Insurance Companies they have worked with when chasing claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chasing Insurance Claims:Proactively contact insurance companies to follow up on unpaid or delayed claims, ensuring timely resolution
  • Debt Recovery:Manage outstanding accounts, reducing aged debt with a focus on achieving recovery targets
  • Insurance Liaison:Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurance companies such as Bupa, AXA, Aviva, and Vitality Health
  • Claims Accuracy:Ensure that claims are submitted accurately and in line with insurance policies to avoid delays or rejections
  • Reporting:Provide regular reports on debt recovery performance and outstanding claims, demonstrating measurable results
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the finance and administration teams to streamline claim processes and improve efficiency

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in chasing insurance claims, preferably in a private healthcare or related sector
  • Strong knowledge of key insurance companies (e.g., Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Vitality Health)
  • Demonstrated success in reducing aged debt, supported by numerical evidence
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with insurers and internal teams
  • Competence in managing high volumes of claims with attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working within the private health sector
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and processes

This is an office-based role in West London, though there may be a possibility of hybrid working
