Their staff are highly motivated and hungry to bring success to their clients in every transaction. Due to growth of the Technical Teams a permanent job for a Marine Technician has arisen.Your new roleYour new job working as a Marine Technician will require you to provide technical account handling and process support for Brokers and Directors. This is an end-to-end technical role with the additional benefit of active Client engagement. Duties will include preparing slips and Underwriting information for broking purposes, preparing cover notes, premiums, Contract Load Up and all relevant documentation as well as assisting with the placing of business. Duties will also include liaising with clients and markets as necessary, maintaining placing files, providing support to Directors, Consultants and Brokers and assisting in controlling premiums, commissions, allocating cashes, chasing bad debts and other monetary functions. What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience as a Marine Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have previous experience in an Insurance environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, the ability to assemble broking presentation materials accurately and efficiently.
