An independent Lloyd's insurance and reinsurance broker is seeking a Premium Processing Technician on a part time basis.This role will be 15 hours a week spread over 5 days and with two days a week spent in the London office. (Travelling outside of rush hour so cheaper train tickets)This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with all parts of the company. Although predominantly covering premium processing, there is the potential to assist with other business areas.In this role you will process all premiums and premium bordereaux in the accounting system, submit premiums and premium bordereaux to underwriters using third party system, respond to underwriter queries regarding outstanding premiums and adjustments, enter contract information into accounting systems, including expense percentages and signing numbers, maintain premium statistics for line slips and binders, check daily cash received reports and allocate funds, request release of delinked entries once funds received and allocated, and chase up outstanding premiums.Applicants must have previous insurance accounting and premium processing experience ideally gained within a Lloyd's broker with general knowledge of integrated broking and premium processing systems.Salary offered £38,000 - £42,000 pro rata + benefits.
