Are you an experienced billing professional with a background in legal services? Our client, who are a leading law firm, are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join their growing team.

About the RoleAs a Billing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the function. You’ll collaborate closely with fee earners, the credit control team, and other departments to resolve billing queries and support the continued development of their systems and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality work and driving process improvements. Please note that although this is a WFH role, you will still be required to travel to the London office once every 8 weeks.

What You’ll Do

  • Process billing requests from fee-earning teams using their financial systems.
  • Address and resolve billing queries promptly and professionally.
  • Submit accurate monthly client statements and provide timely copy bills.
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Support system and process enhancements, working with the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain organised and accurate records, query statuses, and filing systems.
  • Build strong relationships across the team to ensure smooth workflows.

About You

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a legal billing role.
  • Qualifications: Minimum five GCSEs (grades 9-4), including English (grade 6) and Maths.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and strong time management.
  • Tech-savvy: Competence in Excel, Word, and financial systems.
  • Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player: A collaborative approach and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
