Position: Senior Marine Broker

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000+ (doe)

The client is looking for a skilled and driven Marine Broker to join their established team, with a focus on placing Marine Hull & War risks for a diverse, international client base. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-profile accounts and build on your existing experience within a supportive and highly regarded marine team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place and manage a wide range of marine insurance risks, with a focus on Hull & War.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and key market contacts.
  • Handle international accounts across various jurisdictions, ensuring the delivery of bespoke risk solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including claims and analytics teams.
  • Advise clients on current market conditions, policy structures, and strategic placement options.
  • Negotiate competitive terms and coverage in line with client needs.

What’s needed to be considered:

  • Proven experience in marine insurance broking, ideally with a focus on Hull & War.
  • Strong knowledge of the London Market and its practices.
  • Established relationships with a range of marine insurers and underwriters.
  • Confident, professional, and client-focused with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team environment.
