Job Purpose:Manage and develop existing broker relationships with a strong focus on new business development and renewal retention, serving as a key point of contact to ensure excellent service delivery.Responsibilities:Identify and establish new trading relationships and broker opportunities for Private Client (mid/high net worth insurance) by collaborating with Regional Directors and commercial BDMs. Operate primarily within a designated geographic area (North or South of England) while maintaining flexibility to engage with "out of area" connections. Serve as an escalation contact for broker partners to resolve issues and provide support. Prepare and submit weekly reports using a pre-defined format. Attend regular sales meetings in London. Organise joint meetings with brokers. Collaborate with the Regional Directors to develop and manage strategic plans. Work within a national team of Business Development Managers covering various regions of the UK. Provide support and partnership to the trading underwriters based in London.
