Your new companyYour new role working as a Motor Underwriter (Personal Lines) means that you will be working for a mid-market Commercial Insurer based in the city, where it has been serving its customers for over 40 years. Providing efficient, timely and professional support to brokers for both new business & renewals, mid-term adjustment and general enquiries. Due to exciting growth within their team, a fantastic opportunity for a Motor Underwriter to join their London team has arisen.Your new job working as a Motor Underwriter means you will be responsible for:
- Underwrite new and existing businesses, provide quotes and negotiate pricing
- Underwrite personal Motor insurances within agreed guidelines and authority levels.
- Provide high quality customer services
- Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to brokers
- Potential to grow their book of business
- Working directly with the CEO
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years Motor Underwriting experiences, preferable in personal line within an Insurer
- Be driven, ambitious and eager
- Strong knowledge of Insurance
- Excellent progression within this position
- Ideally you will be CERT CII or DIP CII qualified
