Your new companyOne of the largest MGA's in the UK, with offices all over the UK that specialises in the SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. They have fantastic relationships with their panel of brokers and put their clients at the centre of their underwriting strategy. After several years of positive performance, this company is now looking to add an Underwriter to their new business team.Your new role working as a New Business Underwriter means you will be responsible for managing and developing the book of new business and broker relationships, focusing on service and trading. You will be reviewing and underwriting the new business quotations across all products, and have regular communication with the Business Development Managers to maintain broker relationships.Your previous experience working as either an Underwriting Assistant or Underwriter will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have experience dealing with new business or renewals, ideally writing your own business. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an underwriting role handling commercial insurance, property/casualty and have excellent communication skills.What you will get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary depending on experience and a very attractive benefits package.
