The Role: Asset Investment Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Investment Officer duties:

• Working with very large data sets and undertaking advanced analysis to create robust investment plans of when capital works need to be delivered to achieve compliance with Decent Homes and Building Safety.

• Modelling Decent Homes projections based on indicative investment plans.

• Collating all relevant asset data such as stock condition survey data, repairs history, specialist fire safety reports and fire risk remedial actions to create 'investment packs’ which is a new requirement for any new capital project to be delivered.

• Utilising Asset Performance viability data (SHAPE) to inform investment options in partnership with the councils HRA finance and regeneration teams.

• Working with colleagues in Capital Delivery and Capital Finance to establish realistic budgets of projects to model what resources are required and/or affordable within existing HRA Business Plan assumptions. The above role requires advanced MS Excell skills, high levels of expertise/competency working with very large datasets, identifying and rectifying cost anomalies and in-depth reconciliations.

Required Experience

• Identifying and rectifying cost anomalies and in-depth reconciliations

• Knowledge of NEC (Northgate) Housing/Repairs modules (front end not sys admin)

• Desirable to have worked in social housing environment

We operate hybrid working and will expect the candidate to work from the office 1 or 2 days per week.
