Altum Consulting are recruiting an Investment Manager to join a prestigious Investment Management firm based in central London. The fund operates across several different investment strategies (Private Equity, Venture/Growth Capital) all with an emphasis on sustainability.

This role sits within the Venture team and will specialise in investing within the Deep Tech/AI space, managing deals through the entire investment life-cycle (origination, execution, portfolio management and eventual realisation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse economic trends and investment opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on potential investments
  • Building, reviewing and updating financial models
  • Portfolio management post-investment (potential to secure board seat or be an observer)

Required Experience:

  • Strong academic background, ideally MA or PHD within a relatable field
  • Deep understanding of investment offerings and portfolio management techniques
  • Minimum 3 years direct investing experience into Deep Tech/AI
